In order to provide the client with an economical structural solution GreenWood Engineering evaluates multiple factors impacting the selection of structural systems for use on each project, starting with the Architectural concept and construction budget and extending all the way to LEED applicability and schedule and/or site restrictions. Utilizing technical design processes including state of the art computer structural analysis programs in conjunction with 3D modeling of structural systems in Autodesk Revit (BIM) for the majority of our projects and construction document production, we pay significant attention to the issues of project planning, structural construction cost, the design process, coordination with other disciplines, and timeliness of document completion. Traditional deliverable can be exported from the Revit model and, if required, AutoCAD can still be used on smaller projects.
